Mrs. Delores E. Hall, 78, of Leesburg, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Willson Hospice House, in Albany.
Born August 28, 1944, in Charleston, S.C., Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Melba Greenhill Heichelbeck. She worked for many years as a manager in jewelry sales and was a member of Kinchafoonee Baptist Church of Leesburg. Mrs. Hall loved fishing, going to yard sales, working with her plants, and enjoyed singing. She loved God and her family most of all, but there was just something special to her when it came to her grandbabies and dogs. She will be remembered as a loving Christian lady who will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Thomas Tuten.
Survivors include her husband, William L. Hall of Leesburg; children, William Tuten (Gloria) of Leesburg, Thomas Tuten (Gwendolyn) of Sylvester, Mark A. Hall (Amy) of Florida, William L. Hall, Jr. (Robin) of Cuthbert, and Sandy Young (John) of El Paso, TX; her siblings, Jean Grubbs, Carol King, Lynn Bennet, Pam Harley, Cheryl Heichelbec, Larry Heichelbec, Kenneth Heichelbec (Jim), Gary Heichelbec (Bonnie), Kerry Heichelbec (Susie); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, in the Chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. Rev. Melvin Slappey will officiate with interment to follow in the Leesburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral at the funeral home.
