Debra Lynn Elkins Parks

Mrs. Debra Lynn Elkins Parks, 59, of Tifton, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2019, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home, 375 US 19 S. Leesburg, GA 31763. The family will visit with friends following the service. Born February 8, 1960, in Ashville, NC, Mrs. Parks was a loving homemaker who dearly loved all her family. She enjoyed puzzles, traveling to the mountains and watching TV. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was Baptist by faith. Survivors include her devoted husband, James Edward Parks, Sr.; her parents, James and Vina Elkins of Hahira; her children, Jamie Lynn Parks Swift (Amber) of Leesburg, James Edward Parks, Jr. of Tifton and Alan Blake Parks of Tifton; brothers, Mark Elkins (Lisa) of Hahira and Tony Elkins also of Hahira; sister, Jackie Norris (Joey) of Nashville, GA; her grand-poo, Bella; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Elkins. Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg was given the honor to serve the Parks family.
