Debbie Rowland Turner

Debbie Rowland Turner, 52, of Baconton, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, in the Leesburg Cemetery with Pastor Ernie Rogers officiating. Born October 15, 1968, in Albany, Debbie was the daughter of the late William and Julia Wheeler Rowland. She worked in medical records at Phoebe for many years. Debbie enjoyed listening to music and loved to laugh. Above all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandbaby who affectionately called her “Nina”. A loving wife, mother, Nina, sister, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her spouse, John Wesley Turner of Baconton; two children, Jordan Turner and Cassidy Turner both of Baconton; grandson, Joseph Bishop; siblings, Bill Rowland of FL, Alan Rowland (Teresa) of Henderson, NC, Fran Johnson (Roy) of Cordele, Linda Brazzeal of Cornelia, Calvin Brazzeal (Carol) of Leesburg, Kim Brazzeal of Cornelia; and a host of extended family and friends.
