David Wayne Conley

Mr. David Wayne Conley, 68, of Poulan, passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Born on October 19, 1956, in Sylvester, Mr. Conley was the son of the late James and Dorothy Suggs Conley. He worked for Georgia Pacific for many years, and for the City of Poulan. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed working on small engines and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Tanya Dyess and her husband, Rev. Rob Dyess of Putney; sisters, Barbara McCook of Sale City and Tammy Williams of Poulan; 3 grandchildren, Nathan Dyess, Silas Dyess, and Ethan Dyess; and one great-granddaughter, Addison.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Conley was preceded in death by his son, Jeremiah Conley, and brother, Ricky Conley.

In accordance with the wishes of Mr. Conley, services will be private for the family only.
