Mr. Darrell Edwards, 40, of Leesburg, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Services honoring the life of Mr. Edwards will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 12, 2016 in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home, 375 US Highway 19 S. Leesburg, GA. 31763. Pastor Kerry Reeves will officiate and the family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Born January 10, 1976 in Albany, Mr. Edwards worked as a mechanic for several years and enjoyed working with computers. He loved his family and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his parents, Donnie H. Edwards and Sharon Thompson Edwards of Leesburg; his children, Carolanne Edwards, Courtney Edwards and Darrell Edwards, Jr. all of Worth County; grandchild, Braylee; brothers, John Thompson and Tykisha of Albany and Michael Edwards of Leesburg; sister, Mylena Clayton and Jason of Acworth; special aunt, Robin Kerce and J.C. of Camilla and several other aunts and uncles and cousins that he loved.
