Claudia Freeman

Ms. Claudia Freeman, 88, of Albany, peacefully passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. The family will host a memorial service at a later date. Born January 25, 1934, in Sparta, she was the daughter of the late Carlton Boyer and Lillie Johnson Boyer. She retired from Grumman Aircraft where she worked as a lead in the auto clave department. Ms. Freeman loved being outdoors, sewing, word search puzzles, and above all she enjoyed spending time with her family. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend she will be greatly missed by all. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Boyer. Survivors include her children, Ann Parker of Milledgeville, Amy Freeman Ward of Macon, and Melanie Musgrove (Johnathan) of Albany; 6 grandchildren, Sherry Dukes, Cindy Williams, Christina Morrison, Frederick Smith, Kenny Williams, and Elijah Musgrove; sister, Pat Merritt of Macon; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
