Clarence A. Horace

Mr. Clarence A. Horace, 90, of Sylvester passed away at Willson Hospice House on Thursday, June 30, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Albany Fellowship Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 381 Fussell Road, Leesburg, GA 31763. Born on April, 5, 1932, to the late Harry S. and Etta Rosena Horace, he worked for many years as a Bible and book distributor for the Georgia Cumberland Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mr. Horace had performed with a country and gospel singing group, providing his beautiful singing voice and his guitar playing abilities. He loved everyone he met. Mr. Horace was a wonderful person but he was especially a wonderful husband to his dear wife of 53 years and father to their children. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his two children, Randall Turner and Rebecca Sadler; 3 brothers and a sister. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Elizabeth Horace; their daughters, Judith Williford of Phenix City, AL, Joyce Steward (Charles) of Albany, GA and Kathy Mancil of Bonifay, FL; their 16 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren; sister, Etta Rosena Evans; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
