Cheryl Ann Ellington

Ms. Cheryl Ann Flournoy Ellington, 78, of Dawson went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

The family is honoring the request of Cheryl and there will be no public service.

The family asks that you do a good deed for someone in need in Cheryl’s memory.

Born June 18, 1945, in Dawson, Cheryl was the daughter of the late Albert and Annie Flournoy of Dawson, GA. Cheryl was a lifelong member of The Church of Christ in Dawson and she graduated from Terrell County High School. She worked as a secretary for many years, loved The Lord and her family and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her son, Ted Ellington (Ginger) and her granddaughters, Leah and Hannah of Cohutta, GA.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all the staff of Dawson Health and Rehabilitation over the last several years of Cheryl’s life for the wonderful care she was provided.
