Charles A. Thompson

Mr. Charles A. Thompson, 61, of Leesburg, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home in Leesburg. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2022, in the Thundering Springs Cemetery, in Leesburg with Rev. Ronnie Faircloth officiating. Born March 8, 1960, in Tacoma, Washington, Mr. Thompson was the son of the late Charles and Joann Faircloth Thompson. He worked as a truck driver for many years and always had a positive outlook on life and was always smiling. To see someone, laugh at a joke or smile made his day. He loved the outdoors including camping and fishing and loved to ride motorcycles. He also enjoyed guns and was of the Christian faith. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his son, Shane and sister, Vicky. Survivors include his children, Blue and Josh Thompson both of Atlanta; brothers, Eddie Thompson and Becky of Leesburg, and Robert Thompson and Michelle of Chicago, IL; and sister, Crystal Dills of Charleston, S.C.
