Mrs. Bonnie Wells Duncan, 68, of Leesburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 2, 2022. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Schluckebier officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, June 10, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg. Born January 5, 1954, in Tampa, FL, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Emma Lee Wells. Mrs. Bonnie was a homemaker who cared for her family and home. She was of the Pentecostal faith and loved the Lord dearly. She enjoyed studying the bible and gardening when she was able. She was a prayer warrior to many and spent hours seeking the Lord on other’s behalf. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Vicky Cox. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Eddie Duncan of Leesburg; daughters, Lois Shiver (Paul) of Albany, Michelle Cash of Leesburg, and Dawn Milner of Albany; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her siblings, and a host of extended family and friends that loved her dearly.
