Bobby Gene Knox

Mr. Bobby Gene Knox, 81, of Albany, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Born December 14, 1940, in Oconee County, S.C., Bobby was the son of the late Samuel Whit Knox and Monteene Brookes Knox. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and loved working in his yard. He retired from Kraft foods and was of the Christian faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Knox was preceded in death by his beloved wife, June Diane Lee Knox; son, Robert Knox; and his brothers, Whitt and Brooksey Knox. Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Lynn Perry of Alba, MO; son, John Knox of Carterville, MO; 8 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
