Barbara Ann Edwards

Mrs. Barbara Ann Edwards, 66, of Albany, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 and has now been reunited with her beloved husband, Edward L. Edwards that passed away on December 19, 2017. A memorial service celebrating both of their lives will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 9, 2018 in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. Rev. Matthew Harrell will officiate, and the family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Barbara Ann Edwards was born on January 7, 1952 in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was married to Edward for over 42 years and together they raised their family. She retired from Albany Water Gas and Lights and, enjoyed bowling and was Baptist by faith. Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Lassiter (Mike) of Leesburg; brother, Mike Ginn (Catherine) of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Brandon Apperson (Brittany), Jason Lassiter and great-grandson, Joel Apperson.
