Aubrey Layne Bass

Baby Girl Aubrey Layne Bass, gained her angel wings in the early morning hours of December 14, 2019. Her celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Leesburg Cemetery. Dr. Cory Smith Senior pastor of Auburn United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Aubrey was born November 4, 2019, and is the light of her mama and daddy’s eyes. Though she was only here for a short time, her sweet spirit will be greatly missed and Aubrey will forever be remembered by those who loved her. She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Milton Rawlins, Ronnie Litsey, and Julia Burnett. Left to cherish her memory are her mother and father, Haley and Josh Bass of Leesburg; maternal grandparents, Dane and Leah Floyd of Pike Road, AL; paternal grandparents, Rhonda and Michael Weston of Georgiana, AL, and Rev. Tim and Somer Bass of Valley, AL; her great-grandparents, Barbara Litsey, Jim and Betty Bass, Danny and Sandra Floyd, and Pat Sheffield; and her aunts and uncle, Aly Bass, and Chelsea and Chris Floyd.
