Anna M. Edgington

Ms. Anna M. Edgington, 63, of Albany, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on March 22, 2023.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.

Anna was born on May 19,1959, to the late Vernon and Alberta Edgington in Chagrin Falls, OH. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, the father of her three daughters, Freddie Miller; daughters, Keyshana Miller who preceded her in death, Latoya Miller (Stacey Nunnally), and Chiquita Thrower (Stanley Thrower); four grandchildren, Javar Hart, Kenya Nunnally, Jamarcus Nunnally, and Shariah Davis; one great granddaughter, Alena Jones; one God daughter, Latasha Wright; five God grandchildren, Kiana Wright who preceded her in death, Kwaneisha Wright, Kyjuan Wright, Jeremiah Wright, Nehemiah Wright, and Joshua Wright; two sisters, Edwina Wright (Lenny Wright) who preceded her in death, Joyce Byler (David Byler); and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends and family members.

Anna was a CNA for over 22 years where she enjoyed caring for others. Her last place of employment was Ware Group Home in Albany, GA.

She gave her life over to Christ and joined New Dedication Church in Albany, GA in 2008, and later moved her membership to Kingdom Ambassador Ministries in Thomasville, GA in 2022 where she loved attending gospel singings and regular church services.

Anna enjoyed family get togethers, bingo, playing cards, board games, reading, and playing games on her phone. She was loved, cherished, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
