Angela Joy McMickle

Mrs. Angela Joy McMickle, 60, of Lee County, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at her home while surrounded by her beloved family. 

Services honoring her life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 25, 2025, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Bass will officiate and the family will visit with friends following the service. 

Born on February 9, 1964, in Savannah, Angela worked for over 20 years with First Methodist of Albany as a Preschool teacher. There she had the great joy of loving and caring for many children through the years. She enjoyed reading, baking, and spending time with family and friends. She was of the Christian faith and will be greatly missed by all. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Rouse Winn.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, James McMickle of Lee County; two daughters, Janelle McMickle of Brunswick and Nikki Manning of Jesup; her father, Marvin Winn of Richmond Hill; sisters, Greta, Gretchen, and Miriam; brothers, Marvin, and Oney; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
