Angela Marie Griffin

Mrs. Angela Marie Griffin, 56, of Baconton, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, in Leesburg at a family residence.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Bainbridge Church of God, 205 Independent St. Bainbridge, GA 39817. Pastor Matthew Schluckebier will officiate with interment to follow in Oak City Cemetery.  Active pallbearers are Zeke Foister, Jonathon Griffin, Jerry Griffin, Zane Tedder, Roger Avera, Logan Flowers, Juan Hernandez, and George Klintworth. The family will visit with friends one hour before the funeral at the church.

Born on July 15, 1968, in Albany, Angela worked for several years but was most proud to be a military wife. She lived in Japan for three years while her husband was stationed there. She enjoyed traveling to 28 states with her husband, going to the beach, and playing Scrabble. She attended Life Church of Leesburg and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband, Jimmy Griffin; her mother, Marion Carter Cook of Kingsland; her father, Riley Cook of Shelbyville, TN; children, Ashley Griffin of Clayton N.C., and Deedee Casteel of Moultrie; siblings, George Klintworth and Sherry of Preston, Dennis Cook of Kingsland, David Armbrust of Albany, Sheila Cook of Kingsland; and 7 grandchildren.
