Ryan Gregory Hatcher

Ryan Gregory Hatcher, 27, of Lee County, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022.

A memorial service honoring his life will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022, in the Chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with Jeff Barker and Jake Williams officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.

Ryan was born June 20, 1995, in Albany, GA to Mr. Greg Hatcher and Mrs. Tammy Day Tabb. He attended Lee County Schools where he enjoyed playing baseball throughout his school years. He was known as a jokester who loved cutting up and making everyone laugh. His personality was infectious, and Ryan was always the center of attention in the best way possible. He loved his family dearly and would do anything to help others in need. In his free time, he enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, and spending time with his family and friends. A beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jacob Israel Hatcher; step grandfathers, Roy McDade and Milton Bud Longworth; stepfather, John Tabb; grandmother, Ina Sutton; and his aunt, Maggie Abel.

Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Greg Hatcher of Lee County; mother, Tammy Tabb of Sale City; siblings, Preston Maier of Panama City, FL, Brooke Hatcher of Panama City, FL, and Josh Hatcher of Kennesaw; grandparents, Sylvia June Gray (Leon) of Albany, and Patsy Hatcher of Sale City; aunts, Latayne Hatcher of the Lester Community and Michelle McCloud of Sale City; uncle, Shane Hatcher (Tonya) of the Lester Community; cousins, Samantha Hatcher, Gracie Bradshaw, Macie Bradshaw all of the Lester Community; and a host of extended family and friends.
